Halloween!
I don't know how popular we are this year; we gave out toothbrushes and fruit leather! We had over 200 kids come to the door this year which is more than our other two years here. Hunter lasted about 3 minutes in his costume, but it was long enough to take some cute pictures!

Too cute! A lot of people here chose to give out alternatives like toothbrushes and hair elastics. I looked into Halloween pencils, but alas I gave sugary chocolate, suckers and bubble gum and ate half of it myself. Next year I am going with the pencils to save my own teeth.
Just wanted to say your little moose is very cute. I live in Chesterfield Inlet, and came across your blog when i was trying to get information about living in Nunavut, and I enjoy catching up on news in your part of Nunavut!

Kara, and you say my DOG was embarrassed in her Christmas costume. I want a copy of Hunter in the moose costume with his "pissy face" on. Too funny!!!!!

he is so cute! 200 kids at the door? i am kinda glad i am not in arviat for halloween then, we probably will get almost double that!
I met Matt in the airport Thursday on our way back home. I had to walk up to him to see if it was him.
